From November 20 to 22, 2025, TerroirSense & TasteSpirit cordially invite you to attend the annual global gathering of renowned terroir-driven wineries—the 8th International Terroir Symposium!
A decade of dedication, yet our original aspiration remains unchanged. Looking back to 2015—a pivotal year—when Burgundy’s terroirs were designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, the spirit of “honoring origins, remaining faithful to terroir” deeply resonated with us. Over the past ten years, with the dedicated support of Aubert de Villaine (Co-owner of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) and hundreds of leading global terroir advocates and scholars, the International Terroir Symposium has grown from a dream seed into a towering tree bridging China and the world in terroir values.
Over the past seven editions of the International Terroir Symposium, we have achieved:
- More than 300 leading figures and experts in the global terroir wine industry who attended in person to guide the event
- Over 1,000 prominent wineries and importers from the world’s top ten wine-producing countries participated
- Over 50,000 bottles of wines from top-tier iconic estates in global terroir wine-producing regions featured at the conference
- Over 20,000 experienced professionals in wine circulation, import/export, hospitality, influencers, and collectors attended
- Over 100,000,000 online views of related coverage, with long-term media partners including CCTV Finance, CCTV News, CCTV French Channel, Xinhua News Agency, and Shanghai United Media Group

All participating estates have been meticulously chosen by our expert panel in collaboration with invited international wine critics and world sommelier champions. More than 100 outstanding estates from across the globe have been carefully selected to ensure that every participant represents the highest level of quality.
Not only must the wineries themselves meet exceptionally high standards, but the wines presented at the exhibition are also subject to multiple rounds of screening. This guarantees that each showcased wine stands out for its exceptional quality. Every estate is a leader in its region, and every wine is a true expression of terroir.

The founding vision of TerroirSense & TasteSpirit in creating the International Terroir Symposium has always been rooted in the belief that terroir is the foundation of great wine. The diversity and unique character of wine are born of terroir and nature, yet they cannot exist without the humble vignerons who work tirelessly with the land. Without the harmony of “heaven, earth, and people,” there would be no such rich and colorful wines.
To respect terroir is to revere nature and to honor our origins. We hope the International Terroir Symposium can serve as a medium, a bridge—on one side, the proprietors of terroir-driven estates and renowned international wine experts and scholars; on the other, wine lovers like you. For every participant, the conference is an opportunity to gain insight, deepen knowledge of wine, terroir, and nature, experience the spark of intellectual exchange, and—most importantly—share and enjoy some of the world’s finest terroir wines together.
